Originally released in 1967, The Dolly Catcher brings together easy listening, boutique pop and instrumental arrangements from British composer and producer John Schroeder and his orchestra.
Schroeder’s sound welded polished pop arrangements to soul, rock and psychedelic material, with blaring horn charts and pumping Hammond organs. The album includes interpretations of “Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds”, “I Was Made To Love Her” and “Up, Up And Away” alongside the title track.
This Music On Vinyl edition is limited to 750 individually numbered copies on pink-coloured 180g audiophile vinyl.
