Invada Records presents a special Baby Pink vinyl edition of the original score to the Sky Original series The Death of Bunny Munro, composed by Nick Cave and Warren Ellis.
Both a wild cautionary tale and a tender portrait of a father-and-son relationship, the series is based on Cave’s novel and stars Matt Smith. The score embraces the raw, unruly energy of the story with Cave and Ellis’ signature emotional intensity.
Recorded at Soundtree Music in Shoreditch, East London, it was engineered and co-produced by Luis Almau, a frequent collaborator across the duo’s film and documentary work. Their previous scores include The Proposition, The Road and Back To Black.
“When I look at Bunny, I don't see an aberration - he's a flawed human being struggling with grief, his own legacy and all the things that make us human.” – Nick Cave
