Blood Incantation’s landmark debut Starspawn returns in a special tenth-anniversary edition. Originally released in 2016, it introduced the band’s intricate, otherworldly death metal, combining labyrinthine riffs and crushing heaviness with progressive songwriting and vast cosmic atmosphere.
Recorded entirely analogue at World Famous Studios in Colorado, with the band performing largely live to tape without click tracks, the album’s raw, organic production became an essential part of its identity.
This edition features a special lacquer cut by Jaakko Viitalähde and a 140g clear EcoRecord with orange and blue INKPLOSION effects. Made from PET using precision injection moulding, each record has its own unique appearance.
The original artwork is presented in an upgraded gatefold sleeve with matt/gloss finishing, accompanied by a four-page LP booklet and poster.
