London noise-rock quartet USA Nails return with Routine Flesh, their seventh album and second for One Little Independent Records.
Across twelve tracks, the record confronts mortality and the forces that shape us: the bodies we inherit and watch deteriorate, the beliefs we absorb, the environments we grow up in and the experiences that leave lasting marks.
Ageing, religion, healthcare, trauma, isolation, love and online radicalisation feed into an album that asks how much control we really have over the people we become.
