A rip-roarer of a record, Lifeguard’s debut album is loads of fun and full of noisy charm. Taking in elements of noise rock, some dub, power pop and early punk, the guitars on this album sound how every guitar should(!) sound. With headbang-ready anthems like It Will Get Worse and TLA, it’s hard to believe this is just a debut!
