Paul Weller Presents More Sweet Sweet Music

Following his 2025 collection for Ace Records, Paul Weller digs deeper into his soul favourites with More Sweet Sweet Music. These 24 selections, spread over four sides of vinyl or one CD, offer a wide-angle perspective on his listening habits.

Highlights include Charles Sheffield’s “It’s Your Voodoo Working”, Candi Staton’s “Too Hurt To Cry”, Garland Green’s “You Played On A Player”, Millie Foster’s “Love Wheel”, Bo Diddley’s “Road Runner”, The Cookies’ “Chains” and The Mystic Moods’ “Cosmic Sea”.

As Paul writes in his introduction: “I hope you enjoy this compilation, it’s the sort of thing I would have made up on a mix-cassette 30 years-plus ago. Some of it you will know, some maybe you won’t. It’s not about point scoring anyway, it’s only about how the music hits you and affects you. I hope you enjoy it”.
