Self-recorded at home and mixed at 4AD studios, On Course But No-One There To Salute You is the debut album from writer, visual artist and producer Lottie Brazier. Its eleven tracks explore tightly produced, deeply atmospheric pastoral post-punk.
Brazier’s distinctive contralto vocals, jagged guitar and erudite lyrics are matched by a wealth of pop hooks within an experimental framework. Evoking the vast skies of Suffolk, the album offers a transportive listen for fans of Julian Cope, Wire, Cate Le Bon and Scott Walker.
