Made In Germany I

Made In Germany I captures Strange Kind Of Women’s electrifying approach to Deep Purple’s songbook across two European shows in 2025 and 2026. The all-female group preserves the power of these rock classics while embracing the improvisational freedom that made Purple’s live performances so compelling.

Founded by Italian blues-rock guitarist and singer-songwriter Eliana Cargnelutti in 2018, the band brings together vocalist Ronnie Grace, pianist Margherita Gruden, bassist Paola Zadra and drummer Chiara Cotugno. Their distinct personalities unite in a collective energy built on dynamics, musical instinct and the ability to listen to one another.

“We don’t reproduce every single note mechanically, like we were still in the 1970s. We’ve found room to let our own voices emerge. And that’s what keeps this music alive,” explains Cargnelutti. Just months after their January 2019 stage debut, Deep Purple founding drummer Ian Paice joined them onstage, praising their sound and commitment.
