The original soundtrack to Look Back, composed by acclaimed Japanese composer haruka nakamura, arrives on vinyl.
Based on the celebrated manga by Chainsaw Man creator Tatsuki Fujimoto, Look Back follows aspiring manga artists Fujino and Kyomoto as their shared passion for drawing brings them together and shapes their lives in unexpected ways. Directed by Kiyotaka Oshiyama, the animated film explores friendship, creativity, loss and what keeps us creating.
nakamura’s intimate score pairs delicate piano, strings and acoustic instrumentation with the film’s quiet, hand-drawn beauty. Moving from the joyful energy of “Rainy Dance” to the reflective “FINAL ONE” and closing theme “Light song”, featuring vocals by urara, the sixteen-track soundtrack follows Fujino and Kyomoto’s journey through childhood creativity, friendship, separation and remembrance.
This limited one-off pressing is presented on opaque spring green vinyl.
