The original soundtrack to Life Support brings together score compositions by 3D (Robert Del Naja of Massive Attack) and Habib Shehada Hanna with new tracks and selected pieces contributed in solidarity. Jointly curated by the film’s producers and Del Naja, the thirteen-track collection includes Yasmine Hamdan, Kneecap, 47Soul, Siba and Monkyman, Aar Maanta, Massar Egbari and The Five Techniques featuring Paul Weller, David Holmes and Róisín El Cherif.
Directed by Daniele Rugo and narrated by Denise Gough, the documentary follows a team of medics working in Gaza over two years, documenting their experiences and the resilience of the people they encounter.
All profits from the thirteen-track vinyl release will be donated to the Health Workers 4 Palestine solidarity fund.
Battle Box has partnered with Good Neighbor for this red 180g EcoSonic pressing. Manufactured from 100% recycled PET rather than traditional PVC, the record uses an energy-efficient injection-moulding process and is fully recyclable.
