Popular pianist Tsuyoshi Yamamoto's "Life," his second album for East Wind, appears in the lineup of the 9th installment of Spin This Now! Backed by a golden rhythm section of Sam Jones on bass and Billy Higgins on drums, he delivers a supremely swinging, brilliant performance. The delicate ballad playing on "If You Could See Me Now" is also not to be missed.
