Marseille hip-hop group Le 3ème Oeil’s debut Hier, Aujourd'hui, Demain returns to vinyl for the first time since 1999. Rappers Boss One and Jo Popo draw on their Comorian roots and the realities of their community, approaching their music as a form of reporting from the streets around them.
Following their contribution to the soundtrack of Luc Besson’s Taxi, the group released a debut that sold 160,000 copies and became a sought-after French underground hip-hop record. Featuring “Hymne à la racaille” and “La vie de rêve grand tourismo”, it is presented here across three records.
This limited Music On Vinyl edition is pressed on gold-coloured 180g audiophile vinyl and includes an insert with lyrics.
