2nd US LP, by the influential British beat band, originally released in November 1965. The first six tracks feature Jeff Beck as lead guitarist, while the final four feature Eric Clapton, recorded live at the Marquee Club in London's Soho in March 1964. 'Having a Rave Up with the Yardbirds' was the band's highest charting album in the US and was pressed as an export release in Britain. It was massively influential on the emerging US psychedelic rock scene - for the 'rave-up' extended middle eights - inspiring The 13th Floor Elevators and Jefferson Airplane amongst many more.
