Half Cut

Australian punk trio The Chats return with their third album, Half Cut. Produced by Frenzal Rhomb’s Jay Whalley, its fourteen tracks build on the band’s raw punk sound with classic-rock riffs and sharp humour, viewed through a more personal lens.

Capturing their unmistakable energy while taking their songwriting into new territory, Half Cut follows the Queensland trio’s rise from the breakout success of “Smoko” to acclaimed albums High Risk Behaviour and Get Fucked.

The standard LP is pressed on low-carbon black vinyl. The indie/HMV-exclusive LP features hand-poured blue/clear teal/pink colour vinyl. Both come in single jackets with printed inner sleeves. The CD is housed in a jewel case with a twelve-page booklet.
