A slow avant garde album which took real 'guts' to release at the time. Perhaps his first 'experimental' album of the 80s period, if you discount the seminal Pleasure Principle? Mick Karn's unmistakable work truly pushed the young Gary's songwriting here, and almost every track has an unmistakable class and beauty.
