Originally released in March 1969, ‘From Genesis To Revelation’ was the debut album by Genesis., the first step on a pathway that took the band to considerable success and acclaim in the 1970s and beyond.
This vinyl edition is the first re-issue of the album to have been prepared with the approval of Tony Banks, Peter Gabriel, Anthony Phillips and Mike Rutherford and features a wonderful new stereo mix by Stephen W Tayler, presenting the album in a new form, focussing more on the band contributions with less emphasis on the orchestrations of the original album mixes. The new mixes are both remarkable and revealing.
