FERAL BLOOM finds German trio blacktoothed embracing their heavier side on a deeply personal eleven-track album. Vocalist Hendrik Rathgeber, guitarist and vocalist Mathilde Keitel, and drummer David Sommer explore raw emotion, honesty and human connection.
The record intensifies the band’s shouts and breakdowns while retaining their soulful vocal interplay and playful guitar solos. Recorded across multiple sessions over eighteen months, it emerged from a process the band describe as equal parts creativity and chaos.
Working again with Christoph Wieczorek of Annisokay and Vince Ebicht at Sawdust Recordings, blacktoothed bring renewed weight and emotional directness to their varied sound. Annisokay also feature on “SCARTISSUE”.
Available on CD and red-black marbled vinyl.
