French composer and producer Arandel explores electronic music’s spectral possibilities on Cosmogonies Du Silence, bringing Baroque motifs into contact with whispers, accidents and the breath of organs, strings and analogue machines.
Ghosts of the dancefloor emerge through creeping sub-bass and beats drawing on R&B, drill, chiptune and lo-fi house. Guest vocalists Ben Shemie of Suuns, Meryem Aboulouafa, Douglas Dare and Félix Maritaud join the album’s séance-like gathering.
Available on orange vinyl and CD.
