Brown Acid returns for The Twenty-Third Trip, bringing together ten more vintage hard rock detonators from long-lost local bands. Raw guitar, fuzz-heavy riffs and untamed garage energy capture these groups young and unfiltered, far from the polish of record-business producers.
From The Looking Glass’s proto-thrash guitar and Fear’s galloping fuzz attack to White Lightning’s hypnotic riffs and Kingdom’s churning keys, this collection explores the restless edge of early hard rock. Psychedelic organ, searing leads and loose rock ’n’ roll grooves run through a set drawn from bands across North America.
