Brighter Days Ahead (Volume 2) offers a glimpse into the musical future of Colemine Records, bringing together new and unheard recordings from across the label’s universe. Where the first volume collected music already released, this second instalment looks ahead to 2027.
The compilation features Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio, Say She She, The Ironsides, Parlor Greens and more, with some recordings presented as rough mixes and some titles still fresh from the studio. It is a physical-only release, offering a preview of music not yet available digitally.
The series grew from Colemine’s 2020 campaign of weekly digital singles and virtual listening parties, a way of finding a silver lining when the label’s physical release schedule was interrupted. Here, label founder Terry Cole turns that spirit into a forward-looking showcase of what comes next.
Pressed on Colemine blue vinyl, limited to 2,000 copies worldwide. This edition will not be repressed.
