Hand-Numbered, Limited to 500. The Shadracks are a three-piece rock'n'roll group from Medway, Kent, who provide razor sharp sounds which firmly look ahead, with a nod to yesterday. Formed when Huddie and Ellisa met through a friend, they started to make some noise in her parent's garage, with Elle joining on bass, with recordings to follow. One album in, and The Horrors' bassist Rhys Webb joined to replace Ella, who moved on to concentrate on work stuff. Now with two albums under their belt, and a few singles too, with Huddie Hamper on vocals and guitar, Rhys 'Spider' Webb on bass and Elisa Abednego on drums, The Shadracks continue to supply the goods. 'Quite good fun' were the three words used to explain the making of these two covers from the 1968 Peter Cook/Dudley Moore Bedazzled soundtrack. Produced by William 'Spook' Loveday, The Shadracks trio gathered at Ranscombe Studios, with special guests James Taylor (James Taylor Quartet), J.W. Loveday (CTMF, The William Loveday Intention) and William Ivy Loveday himself, and decided to see what they could do together. The results were 'Bedazzled' and 'Love Me', as found on this very record!
