Bad Throw, Good Catch

Dermot Henry’s debut album Bad Throw, Good Catch captures the intimate, lived-in quality of his songs and a good-humoured embrace of life’s imperfections. His songwriting finds fresh perspectives in everyday experience, with lyrics that catch the ear and gently tilt your view of the world.

Recorded live straight to tape with his band, the album was produced by Dom Monks, whose credits include Big Thief, Michael Kiwanuka and Laura Marling, at his studio in Frome, just fifteen minutes from Henry’s childhood home.

The standard black LP and limited Indies/HMV-exclusive pink LP each come in a single sleeve with a black inner and a 12-inch insert featuring lyrics and unseen photographs. The digipak CD includes a twelve-page booklet with lyrics and unseen photographs.
