EXCELLENT BROADCAST COLLECTION FROM THE WHO'S CLASSIC ERA

Between 1964 and 1968, the self-proclaimed ‘Loudest Rock Band In The World’ released a body of work of such quality, strength and cultural significance that the legacy of those classic records has remained indelibly stamped on the music of every subsequent generation. And although it was in the years that followed that The Who attained the status of global millionaire superstars, the songs from their ‘early period’ remain their badge of true identity.

This amazing LP brings together a collection of radio broadcasts recorded between 1965 and 1966 at the BBC's Aeolian Hall. Featuring sessions recorded for BBC Light Programme's influential Saturday Club and Top Gear shows. Bonus cuts here feature a session recorded for French television in March 1966.

Includes performances of the classic tracks 'Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere', 'My Generation', 'Substitute', 'I’m A Boy' and more.
