In 2025, Noah Lennox stepped into a new role: frontman of a Panda Bear band. Following decades behind drums and electronics in Animal Collective and his solo work, Sinister Grift brought an invitingly warm, immediate sound built around guitar, bass, keys and drums.
To bring those layers to the stage, Lennox assembled his first Panda Bear touring band: Tim Koh on bass, Rivka Ravede on sampler, Maria Reis on keyboards and percussion, and Tomé Silva on drums, with all four contributing backing vocals alongside Lennox’s lead voice and guitar.
Following the initial UK and European leg of the Sinister Grift tour, the five musicians gathered at New York’s Power Station studio in autumn 2025. These recordings capture Panda Bear’s psychedelic soundscapes enriched by live instrumentation, harmonies and the interplay of a full band.
The vinyl edition is a limited black double-LP pressing.
