Happy Families (2026 Reissue)

First released in September 1982, Happy Families introduced UK synth-pop duo Blancmange with a collection of sharp hooks and inventive electronic pop. Featuring “Living On The Ceiling”, “Feel Me” and “Waves”, the debut spent thirty weeks in the UK album charts, with “Living On The Ceiling” reaching number seven in the singles chart.

This edition features restored artwork. The clear orange vinyl LP uses a new 2026 vinyl cut and comes in a sleeve with a printed inner.

The expanded CD comes in a four-panel digipak with an eight-page booklet. It adds B-sides, extended versions and remixes of “Living On The Ceiling” by Roman Flügel and Richard Norris, both appearing on CD for the first time.
