NRBQ’s Christmas Wish returns in an expanded Fan Club Fun Version, bringing together 24 festive recordings spanning the decades, including five previously unissued performances.
The collection includes every track from the band’s 1978 Merry Christmas From NRBQ EP and their 1980 recording of “Jolly Old St. Nicholas”. Home recordings, studio tracks and live performances trace the band’s holiday celebrations from the 1970s into the 21st century.
Previously unheard highlights include “Silent Night”, recorded live in Peoria, Illinois, on 23 December 2012, and a private recording of “Auld Lang Syne” featuring Terry on dulcitone. It’s a playful, warm-hearted collection of Christmas favourites and NRBQ originals.
