More Info

The 'Thousand Club' is a new series of exclusive pressings, ranging from All-Analogue cuts of iconic catalogue titles to bespoke compilations from both artists and specialized curators.

The Snow Goose, released in 1975, marked Camel’s commercial and creative breakthrough, establishing the band as one of the most distinctive voices in progressive rock. Inspired by Paul Gallico’s novella, the album is a fully instrumental concept work, structured as a continuous suite of tightly arranged compositions that showcase theband’s precision and musicality. From intricate acoustic passages to dynamic electric guitar leads and layered keyboard textures, the record demonstrates exceptional control of tone, arrangement, and pacing. Andrew Latimer’s fluid, melodic guitar work is complemented by expansive synthesiser and organ parts, creating a rich, immersive soundstage throughout.

Praised for both its compositional clarity and sonic depth, The Snow Goose remains a benchmark recording within the genre, appealing to both audiophiles and collectors. Its enduring reputation, combined with its detailed production and cohesive narrative structure, makes it a standout addition to any serious vinyl collection.

This edition has been cut for an all-analogue release by Alex Wharton at Abbey Road Studios.
