London multi-ethnic soul band The Foundations stormed to a UK Number 1 with their first PYE single, ‘Baby Now That I Found You’, in 1967. Early in 1968, vocalist Clem Curtis left to be replaced by the excellent Joe E. Young of The Toniks. The band scored two huge worldwide hits that year with ‘Build Me Up Buttercup’ (co-written by Mike d’Abo) and ‘In The Bad, Bad Old Days’. This package compiles all the PYE singles released globally plus EP tracks. Digitally remastered and slipcased with new notes.
