"The timeless classic 'Sugar Man' by Sixto Rodriguez. An immense tune. OG released on the funk and soul label Sussex records. With a top line up of musicians - Bob Babbitt on bass and Dennis Coffey on guitar, Gordon Staples did the stunning strings arrangement and Mike Theodore the producer.
This was previously issued as a 7" in the 70s, but sell for well over £100.00. We have used the OG White colour sleeve design instead of the South African issue with a black sleeve, in keeping with format styles.
On the flipside we have take another track from the LP "Only Good For Conversation" Heavy groove with nice bass drum loop, it has a Eugene McDaniels vibes.
