The beginning of the Rolling Stones was that of a provocative and sensual band, absolutely passionate about the music of Chuck Berry, the Muddy Waters, Elmore James and Howlin' Wolf. Although they were always compared to The Beatles, they never saw connection between the two groups, and according to Keith Richards himself, 'We were playing blues.
