Ridin' Dirty

Ridin’ Dirty is the third studio album by Southern rap legends Bun B and Pimp C, together known as UGK. A pivotal release in Southern hip-hop, it captures the Houston sound through warm funk synthesizers, soul and gospel samples, and vivid accounts of late-night life.

From the laid-back “Diamonds & Wood” and hazy “3 In The Mornin’” to “One Day”, “Murder”, “Hi-Life” and the title track, the album provides a rich soundscape for Bun B and Pimp C to trade verses. Its lyrics and atmosphere have echoed through generations of rap, with artists from Slim Thug to Jay Z drawing on its influence.

Despite having no singles or videos released from the album, Ridin’ Dirty became UGK’s best-selling and most critically acclaimed release.
