R.E.M.'s underrated 2001 effort, Reveal. Many will flock to the bigger singles ('Imitation Of Life' and 'All The Way To Reno' remain some of the most cherished in R.E.M.'s back catalogue) but the rest of the record serves as a statement of intent towards upward trajectory, especially in the wake of the two less than redeeming records that immediately followed the departure of founding member Bill Berry.
