Mike Watt, legendary bassist behind Minutemen, Dos, Firehose and so much more, is the latest (and one of the most surprising) to release a cover of a Squeeze song for Record Store Day.Mike teams up with his Secondmen for a cover of the lead-off track from Squeeze's 1981 album East Side Story, "In Quintessence." This is the fifth installment of the Swindles series and was engineered and mixed by Squeeze-aficionado Steve Mandel.This is the first time this cover has ever been made available and will be released as a 45 single with the cover on the A-side and the instrumental version of the cover on the B-side.
This Record Store Day item will be available to purchase in store on Saturday 26th September from 8am and remaining stock will be available to order online from 6pm on Saturday 26th September. Strictly one per customer / no pre-orders.
