The band who, despite staunchly avoiding all contact with the international rock media, have become the ultimate punk bench mark may well be embracing irony when they choose to open their umpteenth collection with a song entitled "And Now For Something Completely Similar". After all, it's not gone unnoticed that literally 100s of bands (both from their native California and indeed all points west) have made it their solemn business to sound exactly like NOFX. And, hey, Pump Up The Valuum is pretty much NOFX-by-numbers, but why should the original and genuine "white trash, two heebs and a bean" mess with a winning formula?
