Playaz Only Live Once unites Atlanta rapper 2 Chainz with producer Statik Selektah for a full-length collaboration bridging classic East Coast boom-bap and Southern rap. Produced entirely by Statik, the album pairs crate-dug samples and warm analogue grooves with 2 Chainz’s distinctive storytelling.
“A Week In Paris” places designer-laced escapades against dusty, soulful textures, while “Pops” turns inward to explore grief and the lasting lessons of his late father. The collaboration gives the rapper space for reflection without losing the character and confidence that have defined his career.
The black double-vinyl edition comes in a gatefold jacket with a 12 × 24-inch insert. The CD is presented in a jewel case with a twenty-four-page booklet. A cassette edition is also available.
The CD is released on 4 December 2026; the double vinyl and cassette follow on 22 January 2027.
