Mick Ronson originally achieved commercial success as David Bowie's guitarist in backing band The Spiders of Mars during the Ziggy Stardust era. In 1975, Ronson released his second solo album Play Don't Worry. Comprised mostly of covers by such artists as The Velvet Underground and Little Richard, Ronson meticulously reimagines these songs in his own musical style. A genius instrumentalist, Play Don't Worry is a supreme example of Ronson's abilities at the height of his career.
