Navigating between Be Bop, Hard Bop, Jazz Funk, Swing, Ballad, and even Caribbean… Surrounded by Tina Brooks on tenor saxophone, McCoy Tyner (21 years old) on piano, Sam Jones on double bass and Clifford Jarvis (19 years old) on drums, Freddie Hubbard gives us a high-flying performance here… and happily opens the gates of Paradise to us!
