L’Épée

L’Épée, the collaborative project between Anton Newcombe of The Brian Jonestown Massacre and French actor and singer Emmanuelle Seigner, returns after a seven-year hiatus with a self-titled four-track EP.

Without The Limiñanas, who completed the original Diabolique-era line-up, this incarnation centres on Newcombe and Seigner. Produced by Newcombe and written by Newcombe with Seigner, the EP picks up the thread of their acclaimed 2019 debut, pushing their psych-pop into darker territory while retaining its garage rock, sleaze and yé-yé influences.
