The box set includes 8-LPs on 180-gram audiophile quality vinyl, remastered from the original analog tapes, cut from 192K transfers. The accompanying book includes extensive liner notes by GRAMMY-winning American music historian Ashley Khan, and rare images of the recording studio, plus historical musician photos by renowned jazz photographers Francis Wolff and Esmond Edwards.
