Hung Up On You….The first JTQ album with James singing the songs, most of which are funky rock, some a bit punky.Basically it's JTQ but the guitarist has turned his amp up. The tunes were written originally for James' other band 'The Prisoners so a lot of it is in that style. There's also three Jimmy McGriff style hammond funk instrumentals on the record. James has been doing a lot of recording with Billy Childish and The Prisoners and so felt the time was good to try his usually jazzy band out on this more Rock'n'Roll stuff, the band loved it and you can clearly hear that in the recordings. Recorded in March 2024 at Ranscombe Studios in Chatham Kent.
