Fundamental Frequencies brings a lost jungle masterpiece back to vinyl for the first time since 1994 with this reissue of DJ Fokus’ ‘Get A Bearing/Dream’ 12”. Originally out on Fokus’ own Suicide label, these two early rumblers from the UK man set the stage for a now legendary run of tracks. The A side goes aqueous with its washing, wave-like synths before the breaks smash in with fierce intensity, while the previously unnamed B side layers decaying strings and glitchy vocal samples right over the top.
