Blabbermouth, Blabbermouth, a collaborative effort of Lu Edmonds (PiL, The Damned, The Mekons) and Mark Roberts (Godfathers, Massive Attack, D:Ream) have joined forces with poet Murray Lachlan Young for a psychedelic odyssey of groove, spoken word and all the troublesome revelations this combination is primed to unearth. In the long tradition of The Small Faces “Ogdens’ Nut Gone Flake”, Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band “Rawlinson End” and Lol Coxhill’s “Murder in the Air”) - Blabbermouth & Lachlan Young proudly present 10 tracks of improvised soundscapes, wild noise & tunes intertwined with Murray’s unique blend of surreal wit & cosmic comedy.

Performer, writer & broadcaster Murray Lachlan Young (aka, The Million Pound Poet) teams up with Blabbermouth on this occasion to cover issues at the forefront of current cultural debate. Topics include the philosophical musings of ‘Cosmology’, the existential implications of ‘Dolphins’ taking over the world and an impassioned account of the cyclical nature of Revolution and Repression in the civilisation of the Gingerbread men & women, ‘Gingerbread PPL’.

Coupled with Blabbermouth’s mesmeric groove of savage post-punk, industrial soundscapes and nightmare psychedelia this has produced an album that defies the usual genre categorisations. Recorded in a single day by engineer/producer Adie Hardy and featuring guest appearances from Brix Smith (The Fall) - Albert Kuvezin (Yat-Kha) & Melanie Pappenheim, The Edge Of Reason was slowly tweaked into being by co-producers Mark & Lu.
