More Info
Alexis Korner was known as the founding father of British blues and released many albums over his career. Accidentally Born in New Orleans was a rather different album in that it was a special one off collaboration with members of King Crimson and Humble Pie.
Alexis Korner and King Crimson (minus Robert Fripp) came together as Alexis Korner & Snape, and recorded this 1973 Warner Bros. release. The album was recorded in San Francisco and also included some interesting guests including Patto members Ollie Halsall and Mike Patto, . Peter Thorup of CCS was also a key member of Snape. This 2020 remastered and released in the digi format will appeal to all fans of blues rock.
