Centipede were a jazzy/prog Canterbury outfit founded in 1970, interestingly comprised of over fifty members and led by English free jazz pianist Keith Tippett. Here, on Septober Energy, the group forge some sublimely beautiful virtuoso passages for various soloists and small units within the orchestra.
