More Info

With their first four albums, Camel proved themselves to be one of the most important - and beloved - British prog-rock acts of the 1970s. With 1976's Moonmadness album taking them into the UK Top 20 for the first time and also proving to be their highest-charting US release, the group were delivering interstellar live performances every bit as thrilling and intricate as their studio recordings.

Broadcast on US radio, this concert features dexterous highlights from Moonmadness (Song Within A Song, Chord Change) alongside soaring standouts from its predecessor, 1975's The Snow Goose, with the core group of Andy Latimer (guitar, vocals), Peter Bardens (keyboards), Doug Ferguson (bass) and Andy Ward (drums) augmented by flautist/saxophonist Mell Collins, helping Camel to expand both their sound and the minds of the audience gathered to witness their flight into the stratosphere.
