This was the eighth album from Gerry Thomas and Bill Curtis, the producers, writers and mainstays of the Fatback sound. Split into two sides called "The Joint" and "Mellow 11", this 1979 album sounds remarkably contemporary twelve years later, Samplers queue here and pay respect.
