Recorded in 2022 for the BBC Gideon Coe show whom put The Delines previous album The Sea Drift as his best album of 2022. This is the band's first Christmas track, and a classic Willy Vlautin one it is too, released just in time to battle it out for a Christmas Number 1. The single features two other exclusive tracks that will also not feature on the next album. Earlier last year the Delines released their heralded third record The Sea Drift which was featured in top twenty year-end polls across the EU and UK. It received number 1 in the UK (Americana UK, Uncut), plus top 20 in Uncut, Rolling Stone France, Volkstrant Holland and El Pais Spain (El Pais) With over 100,000 European records sold from The Delines and his former band, Richmond Fontaine, novelist and songwriter Willy Vlautin will have his seventh novel published in 2024 (Faber & Faber) and the Delines are currently in the studio finishing the recording of their fourth LP which they will be touring in 2024.
