Product Info
Reissue of Boogie Down Productions' unspeakably influential 1988 album 'By All Means Necessary'. In contrast to the gun-totin' album sleeve (a tribute to a famous photo of Malcolm X) this record set the blueprint for conscious Hip Hop, with KRS-ONE setting the world to rights one beat at a time, raising forceful questions about issues facing the black community. Arguably the first rapper to make not being gangster the most outrageous position of all.
