Barbara Lynn is a Southern soul guitarist and singer-songwriter who was influenced by BB King, Jimmy Reed and Elvis Presley. She topped the R&B and the US Billboard charts in 1962, and is active and relevant today. She's been sampled by Lil Wayne and Moby with 'I'm a Good Woman', The Beastie Boys 'Poor Old Trashman'. This is the first vinyl compilation in 40 years for this hero of the soul scene. 12 tracks cut loud, presented on 180g heavyweight classic black vinyl with printed inner sleeve.
