Making his name as a member of pioneering space rockers Hawkwind, vocalist,
saxophonist and fautist Nik Turner returns with a live recording of his legendary
headline at the Great American Music Hall in 1994.
Backed by an eight- piece ensemble, he performs hits such as 'Master of the
Universe' and 'Silver Machine', both from Hawkwind's heyday back in 1971. Turner
is joined by former bandmates Del Dettmar and Alan Powell, as well as Physic
TV's Genesis P-Orridge.
For followers of Turner's original outft Hawkwind, and Space Rock and Prog Rock
music fans, this 2-CD digipack includes a bonus DVD with exclusive behind-thescenes content. This comes in the form of a 45- minute tour diary featurette,
offering a previously unseen glimpse into Nik Turner’s life on the road.
